Stargazer Elementary was born out of a pressing need within our community, guided by many conversations with caregivers who weren’t able to find an educational space for their children that was aligned with their needs and values. Families asked for something different, and this is what we are building — carefully, thoughtfully, responsibly, and in community. Our aims are: long-term sustainability, stability for learners, honesty, integrity, best practices, and working together in service to the children.
What We Offer
Stargazer Elementary is a Montessori community designed to supplement homeschooling or other alternative educational paths. We offer a coherent educational experience rooted in Montessori principles, where children work meaningfully, practice real responsibility, and are given the opportunity to naturally form their society by prepared adults.
Our initially small cohort allows for close observation, individual guidance, and attuned support. We are committed to the freedom and discipline Montessori education requires: slowing down, observing carefully, and treating children with enthusiasm and deep respect. At Stargazer we assist your child in the big work of self creation by connecting them to the environment and their own best work.
